An extended helper handle and a contoured main handle also provide added control when transferring cookware on the stovetop or between the kitchen and the table.
Fired at temperatures of 840°C, the smooth enamel finish of Le Creuset cast iron is durable and hygienic. The cast iron core provides superb heat retention and even distribution. Once hot you will require only a low to medium heat setting to maintain a good cooking performance.
The solid lid creates the perfect seal, enclosing flavours and aromas, while retaining moisture and the nutrient value of food.
Individually cast in sand moulds and hand crafted at the original French foundry since 1925, Le Creuset cast iron pieces are protected by a Lifetime Guarantee for total peace of mind.
