The 9090 isn't just the first espresso coffee maker in Alessi's history: it was also Alessi's first object for the kitchen after the 1930s, the first of Alessi's many Compasso d'Oro awards (1979), Alessi's first object to be inducted into the Permanent Design Collection at the New York MOMA.
Of course it's the best-loved Alessi coffee maker, as well as Alessi's first "amphibious object", i.e. it is for kitchen use, but with its high design quality it can also be brought directly to the table.

I purchased and received for Christmas the Alessi stovetop. Unfortunately it was faulty but within 24hrs of contacting Teddingtons at the busiest time of year, they offered to send a replacement as soon as the warehouse was open. And they certainly did! Amazing customer service. Would highly recommend using Teddingtons. Cannot beat their prices and service. Fantastic.

Teddingtons has excellent customer service and really competitive prices. I just purchased the Alessi 9090 and it is perfect. Looks amazing and makes great coffee. It it the best looking expresso machine on the market and such a clever design. Very happy with both the product and the service. will definitely be back.

It looks good in kitchen. I like the fact that I don't have screw the top chamber every time I brew coffee like I used to do with my other percolator.
